Rosentreter, 90, of Hamilton, died suddenly at his residence Wednesday, March 25. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 28 at St. Paul Lutheran Church at Shive with Rev. George Fisher officiating. Burial was at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Mr. Rosentreter was born Oct. 11, 1901 in Shive. He was a farmer and rancher. He married Hattie Bertha Jeschke July 28, 1926. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Shive. Survivors include one son, Henry Rosentreter of Venus; one daughter, Norma Kunkel of Fort Worth; one sister, Lena Riewe of Pflugerville; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ronnie Kunkel, Keith Vaughan, Johnny Brown, Alan LaRue, Tom Blackwell, and Kevin Ford. Henry Rosentreter was preceded in death by his parents, August and Wilhelmine Bode Rosentreter; his wife, Hattie Jeschke Rosentreter; a son, Nolan Rosentreter; his brothers, August, Louis, Julius, and Charlie Rosentreter; and sisters, Wilhelmine Kopp, Annie Zettler, Alwine Zettler, Sophie Feldmann, Albertine Feldmann, Matilda Senkel, and Lillie Riewe.

Hattie Bertha Rosentreter died suddenly in the Hamilton County General Hospital on Monday, Feb. 3. She had lived most of her life in Hamilton. Rev. Walter Lentz officiated at services conducted in St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Shive. Burial followed in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. The deceased was married to Henry Rosentreter on July 28, 1926 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was baptized July 16, 1899 in Williamson County, and was confirmed May 16, 1913 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Shive, where she was a lifetime member. She was born May 14, 1899 to Ida and John Jeschke, who resided in Hamilton prior to their deaths. Surviving with her husband are a daughter, . Lloyd Kunkel of Fort Worth; two sons, Nolan Gardine Rosentreter of Fort Worth and Henry Rosentreter, Jr., of Venus; two sisters, Louise Jeschke of Waco and Elvena Wenzel of Hamilton; two brothers, Albert Jeschke of Hamilton and Ed Jeschke of Waco; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were James Easter, DeWayne Jeschke, Ronald Kunkel, Raymond Rosentreter, Henry Zettler and Floyd Wenzel.
