- On March 17, 1949, in the Zion E&R Church, she and her beloved husband, Raymond Karl Rosentreter exchanged marriage vows, and on March 17, 2019, they were still together after over 70 years! She and Raymond often remarked and said it should be 75 years since dating of those five years. Since trying to have children of their very own, adoption was the next best choice and they did just that of a son, Steven Ray and a daughter, Nancy Ruth.
