Former longtime Anchorage resident Leona (Non) Rosentreter, 85, died Oct. 8, 1996, in Spokane, Wash.
A service will be conducted Tuesday in Kansas City, Kan. She was born June 25, 1911, in Kansas City.
She and her husband, along with her two sisters, moved to Alaska in 1951. She remained here until June of this year, when she moved to Spokane.
She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Anchorage.
. Rosentreter was preceded in death by her husband, Ed, in 1973, and three younger sisters and brothers.
She is survived by her daughter and grandsons, Joanne Johnson and Mike Johnson of Spokane, and Pat Johnson of Portland, Ore. All are former Anchorage residents. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Catherine and Frances, and her brother, Toby.
. Rosentreter will be buried next to her husband at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Kansas City.
