Broken Bow resident, 88
Broken Bow- Leta Atkinson, 88, of Broken Bow died Monday, Jan. 10, 2000, at heritage Hall Nursing Home in Broken Bow.
Services will be at 3 pm Wednesday at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow with the Rev. Cliff Reynaolds officiation. Burial will be at 2 pm MST Thursday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Morrill.
Bisitation will be from 2 to 8 pm today at the moruaty in Broken Bow.
She was born Aug. 7, 1911, in Ansley to August and Gertrude Austella (Smith) Rosentreader. She attended Harris School and graduated from Ansley High School in 1930.
On Dec. 4, 1930, she married Edward James Davis in Loup City. They lived on the West Coast, where her husband worked construction. He died in 1976.
On Aug. 29, 1979, she married Murray Atkinson in Overton, where they made their home. He died in 1981. She was a member of the Christian Church in Ansley and the Rebekah Lodge at Wilson Creek Wash.
survivors include her great-grandson, Michael Hoefel, Oak Harbor, Wash. In addition to her first and second husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter, five sisters, three brothers and a grand-son.
