Gladys V. Rosentreter-Burleson 1920 - 2016 CARLINVILLE, IL - Gladys V. Rosentreter-Burleson, 96, of Carlinville, passed away Tuesday morning, Oct. 18, 2016, at Heritage Health Care in Carlinville, Ill. Gladys is survived by her son, John W. (Audrey) Rosentreter of Plainview, Ill.; four stepchildren: Larry (Marge) Burleson of Carlinville, Ill., Dale (Rose) Burleson of Midland, Mich., Dean (Venita) Burleson of Louisiana, Mo., and Dianna (James) Fuld of St. Louis, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; son-in law, Robert Duncan of Carlinville; sister, Helen Keele of Carlinville, Ill.; brother, Frank (Judy) Meyers of Sherman, Ill.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, 2016, at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Eastern Star Rites will be conducted at 7 p.m., following visitation. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at the funeral home in Carlinville. Gladys will be laid to rest next to her first husband "Bus" at Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to: Plainview Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, or Carlinville Heritage Health Care Activity Fund.
