ROSENTRETER Kenneth G. Kenneth G. Rosentreter, age 79, of Delta, passed away Wednesday evening, April 7, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo with his loving family by his side. He was born November 6, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late John R. Rosentreter and Ida (Hansen) Rosentreter. Kenneth was an Army Veteran having served during the Korean War. He retired in 1993 after many years of being in the refrigeration trade where he was owner of A & K Appliances. Kenneth enjoyed spending time fishing, hunting and observing God's creations in nature. He attended Shiloh Christian Union Church. In addition to his parents welcoming him to Heaven will be his brother, Ned Rosentreter and sisters, Pauline Amato and Doris Croskey. Kenneth is survived by his former wife, Mary Rosentreter; son, John (Linda) Rosentreter of Swanton; daughter, Sheila Fadell of Maumee; sister, Joyce Goodpaster; grandchildren, Amy (Michael) Bass, Angie (Mark) Topolski, Alexander Fadell IV and Nicole (Jason) Smith; great-grandchildren, Jamie Reed, Hunter and Olivia Topolski and Seth Sidel; and his longtime canine companion "Buster". Friends will be received on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St Hwy 109 in Delta; where a funeral service celebrating Kenneth's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Pastor Jeff Davis will be officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Delta.
