Rosentreter, 83, of Laguna Hills, Calif., formerly of Peoria, died Friday, Oct. 2, 1998, at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, Calif. She was born Nov. 21, 1914, in Peoria to Gustav and Marie Rech Rosentreter. Surviving are two sisters, . William (Marie) Groschan of Laguna Hills and . John (Louise) Saturley of Yucaipa, Calif.; and one brother, W.J. Rosentreter of Tamasee, S.C. She received her bachelor's from Bradley University and her master's from the University of Illinois. She taught at Roosevelt Junior High School in Peoria from 1936 to 1952. She later was a counselor at Santa Monica College in Santa Monica for many years. Cremation was accorded. Burial of ashes was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Santa Monica. The Neptune Society of Los Angeles was in charge of arrangements.
