Julius E. Rosentreter, 81, formerly of 717 N. Sawyer St., died Friday at Park View Health Center. He was born in the Town of Winncconnc on May 21, 1893, -son of Fred and Augusta Rosentreter, and was married on Feb. 18, 1928, to Rena La Buwi, who preceded him in death on Sept. 10, 1971.
Mr. Rosentreter had been with the Oshkosh fire department 25 years, and after retirement had been employed at Pine Lumber Co. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, OshKosh Lodge 205 of Masons, Chapter 16 of Eastern Star and liethel Shrine 2 of White Shrine of Jerusalem. -
There are no immediate survivors.
Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Seefeld-Rtuminski Eagle Street Chapel, with the Rev. Gerald Nerenhausen, pastor at Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Eagle Street Chapel Sunday from 4- 7 pm.
