Rene Rosentreter, 78, of 717 Sawyer St., died Friday at 1:45 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center. She had been hospitalized three weeks. She was born in Weyauwega on April 15, 1893, daughter of Mr. and . Frank LaBuwi, and was married here to Julius Rosentreter on Feb. 18, 1928. . Rosentreter at one time was employed by the Holland Furnace Co., and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She also was a member of White Shrine of Jerusalem and Order of Eastern Star. Her widower, Julius, is the only survivor. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Seefeld Eagle Street Chapel, with the Rev. Gerald Nerenhausen, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
