Margaret E. Rosentrader, 88, of Churubusco, former Whitley County home economics extension agent, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at Whitley Memorial Hospital in Columbia City.
The Elkhart County native retired in 1976 after 19 years of service, was a former teacher who had taught at Mentone, Silver Lake, Wolf Lake and Woodburn, a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Columbia City and Phi Mu fraternity.
Surviving are sisters Goldie Shipley of Sedona, Ariz., and Genevieve Wiener of Chelmsford, Mass.; and nephews Larry Rosentrader of Churubusco, Roger Claycomb of Keithville, La., and Tom Wiener of Woodbridge, Va.
She was preceded in death by brothers Virgil and S. Thomas Rosentrader.
Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Sheets Funeral Home, Churubusco, with calling from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Forest Grove Cemetery, Middlebury.
